A MAN has died after collapsing on a dive boat off Wamberal early Saturday morning.

Marine Rescue NSW received a “Mayday” call from the skipper of a Terrigal dive boat about 8.30am reporting a man was suffering some kind of epilepsy-like seizure.

The skipper radioed in saying he was anchored at Spoon Bay off Wamberal Point and he had five divers in the water.

He said he was providing CPR to the collapsed man and needed urgent assistance.

Marine Area Command water police was alerted and a Marine Rescue NSW boat, Terrigal 30, was tasked to assist.
