Cooperation and coordination between rescue crews is essential in emergency operations when lives are on the line.

Marine Rescue NSW vessel crews take part in regular training exercises with helicopter crews from the NSW Ambulance Service. These drills practice the precision and skills required to transfer personnel and patients between a helicopter and vessel.

In the latest exercise, Port Hacking 30 and Rescue 24 undertook winch training on the Port Hacking river on February 15.
