THE brand new Marine Rescue Narooma rescue vessel completed its third tow-in of a broken down fishing boat on Tuesday since it arrived earlier this month.

The Marine Rescue NSW Narooma unit on April 3 took delivery and launched its new 10.2-metre Naiad rescue vessel built by Yamba Welding & Engineering and powered by big twin 250hp Suzuki outboards.

It’s only the second of its kind in Australia and is packed with the latest technology, including military grade lighting function that turns everything black in the cabin for night searches.
