  • New rescue building to rise from the ashes

FROM THE ASHES: Ulladulla Marine Rescue volunteer Keven Marshall (left), general director Jim Glissan QC, Commissioner Stacey Tannos, Shelley Hancock MP, Minister for Police and Emergency Services Mike Gallacher, volunteer Doug Musker, commander Ken Lambert and Illawarra regional controller Bruce Mitchell inspected the recently cleared site of the Marine Rescue blaze and at the same time launched a new GoPro camera program last Wednesday.

Ulladulla is expected to have a new Marine Rescue base up and running before the start of the next boating season.

During a visit to the area last Wednesday Minister for Police and Emergency Services Mike Gallacher inspected the charred remains of the building that was destroyed by fire in October last year.
