  • Marine Rescue Central Coast volunteers take part in Gosford Boating Safety Day
  • October 19, 2016

Marine Rescue Central Coast volunteers took part in the Gosford Boating Safety Day, held yesterday in conjunction with the first national Gone Fishing Day.

The unit's members were on hand to provide the public with boating safety advice and information about Marine Rescue NSW and its work to save lives on the water.

Producer and host of popular national fishing program Reel Action TV, Michael Guest - a great supporter of Marine Rescue NSW - also took the chance to talk to the crowd of fishers and boaters at the Central Coast event, hosted by Gosford Sailing Club.

With his new boat on display, Michael said it was great to see lots of smiling faces and to spend his day chatting to anglers young and old.
