IT’S hard to come back to shore after getting a taste of the best job in the city.

Instead of patrolling the streets of Sydney, police officers Nathan Lewin and Neil Melville work on the waterways.

Their office comes complete with views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House and Luna Park.

It’s a little rocky inside and a lifejacket is compulsory — but when the sun is shining it’s easy to see why they love their jobs.
