The Board of Directors of Marine Rescue NSW remains unchanged following the 2016 elections.

The Board election results were announced at the Annual General Meeting at the MRNSW Headquarters at Cronulla today.

General Director Jim Glissan and Monaro Regional Director Glenn Felkin were re-elected unopposed for three and two-year terms, respectively.

David White was returned as the Greater Sydney Regional Director and Bill Carter as the Illawarra Regional Director for two-year terms.

The Directors subsequently re-elected Mr Glissan as Chair of the Board.

The Board also announced that it had conferred Life Membership of MRNSW on three members, Albert Morris, from MR Central Coast, Glenn McMahon, from MR Botany Port Hacking and Ken Fletcher, from MR Port Macquarie, for their sustained and valued contribution to the organisation

Mr Glissan said this was the highest honour the organisation could bestow upon its members.

Mr Glissan and Commissioner Stacey Tannos outlined the organisation’s activities over the past year, thanking the 3,100 members of Marine Rescue NSW for their hard work and commitment and the volunteers’ families for their ongoing support.
