STATE TRAINING MANAGER
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated learning and development professional to further their career by joining Marine Rescue NSW in a key management position.
The State Training Manager will utilise their well-honed skills to lead the development and management of best-practice flexible learning solutions and provide high-level RTO governance support to the states lead marine rescue emergency service.
The focus of the State Training Manager role is on making the training experience as user-friendly as possible for personnel and trainers by providing world class programs that meet industry and Vocational Education and Training (VET) requirements.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in the management of Registered Training Organisations. They will also possess the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a desire to implement training systems that will support the needs and ambitions of a state-level emergency service, with 45 accredited rescue units, 3000+ personnel and over 80 rescue vessels. A tertiary qualification in adult education or a similar field is highly desired. This role will also spearhead the implementation and ongoing management of the organisations community education strategy.
The role will be based out of the MRNSW State Headquarters, waterside at Hungry Point in south Cronulla, Sydney - a short distance from Cronulla train station and with ample car parking.
